When it comes to weddings, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing all kinds of celebrations, for all kinds of people, in all kinds of places. From four-day celebrations in Seville to intimate spiritual ceremonies guided by Peruvian shamans- yes, really!
Telling the story of a wedding through spirited images, sometimes hilarious and often profoundly moving, is a real joy. As much as I bring my creative and artistic vision, it’s just as important to me that you, your day, and how it unfolds are front and centre. I consider being of service a key element in my approach.
Alongside weddings, I’m an exhibiting fine art photographer, and I mentor newer wedding photographers. I’m a bit obsessed with photography generally, photobooks, exhibitions, film, street photography, old cameras, beautiful light, and all of that feeds into how I see a wedding, from light and composition to movement, colour and detail.
I’ve lived a fairly adventurous life. I spent many years in India, raised my daughter in Spain, started as a model and later had my own fashion brand. I taught yoga, meditation, and movement for many years, hosted retreats and the odd festival, and spent much of my life as a creative nomad.
All the different chapters of my life have made me feel completely at home with people in all sorts of situations, camera in hand. My fashion background means I have an attuned eye for what looks timeless and cool. That said, ultimately, it’s the people that matter. The love, connection, family, friendship, the people who have travelled miles to be there, the ones crying, the ones dancing, the ones making everyone laugh, all gathered together for one fleeting moment in time.
15 years, 200+ weddings and counting.
These days I limit myself to shooting no more than 15 weddings a year; many of those are multiple-day celebrations.
Keeping my numbers low means I can truly give my best to each couple and celebration, and that I'm genuinely eager to work with you and make your special day unforgettable!
