Tessa and Colin- Mas Santo- Cunit Wedding
Bride Tess has an infectious kind of “I love life vibe” that just oozes out of her. From our first Skype where she sat in her P.Js (time zone confusion) with all her cute doggies snuffling around her, I new we were a great match and her wedding day was going to be big fun. When these two young entrepreneurs (Tess is the founder of the hugely successful Cav life and bake for your dog) aren’t busy building a house from scratch and setting up new companies, they love to travel and so it made sense they would do the destination-wedding thing.
The just a little bit bohemian Mas Santo In Cunit, a short drive from Barcelona was a perfect venue choice for a wedding that was intimate, laid back, with sweetly thought out details and most importantly a set up where everyone could have a great time.
Wedding attire - Tess chose a dress that was so pretty, tons of tulle to have fun with and yet didn’t cost the earth, wise choice as she ended up in the pool, in fact most of the wedding party ended up in the pool! (Check Tess rocking her towel on the dance floor post jump) Colin went for a dark green suit and an ode to his fave doggie that couldn’t attend, bulldog nifty tiepin and cuff-links – loved them.
Ok highlights- the first look, so good a real tearjerker. The vows- handwritten and so personal and touching (they both cried a lot) Crazy Cute couple moment bouncing on the trampoline post ceremony. Sparkler exits are so gone cause sparkler first dances are so much better, remember you read and saw it here first! It’s my new thing.Family and friends got so smoochy during first dance moment- never seen so many people all loved up at the same time. Oh and it was a full moon and I got very excited about capturing it right between Tess and Colin in one of there, hugging cause we cant stop moments (scroll on down and spot the moon)
Inspiration take - a ways from this wedding
No bridal bouquet instead a meaningful single flower on a family heirloom put together by dad. I loved the free mike moments for all the friends at dinner, keeping it spontaneous, while bringing it back to a celebration that was all about the love between and for these two. The emphasis on good live music all day long kept everyone super upbeat and dancing around the pool until the early hours.
Simply grateful to meet these two humans and in Tess I made a friend :-)
